High-Tech Gründerfonds Moving into New Premises in Bonn’s Government District

August 17, 2012

On 1st September 2012 High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) will be moving into the recently built “brandtelf” office building in Schlegelstraße (on the corner of Willy-Brandt-Allee/Heussallee) in the midst of the Bonn government district. Here HTGF will be located in the immediate vicinity of the Federal Art and Exhibition Hall, the German House of History, the head offices of Deutsche Telekom and the UN Campus, Deutsche Welle and Post Tower.

With the modern building complex architects Ursula and Uwe Jürgensen, in cooperation with the Schneider-Sedlaczek architecture firm, closed the gap in urban development along the Museum Mile. “brandtelf” combines the façade of the former state representative office, which is under historical preservation protection, with modern elements such as glass and natural stone.

“Design and function fit perfectly with High-Tech Gründerfonds. The prime location in terms of accessibility and proximity to the city centre combined with an appealing building concept and state-of-the-art facilities tipped the scales for the property. Moreover, we are delighted that the building’s owners are striving for sustainability,” emphasized Dr. Michael Brandkamp, Managing Director of High-Tech Gründerfonds.

HTGF’s offices can be reached via the Schlegelstraße 2 entrance. Visitor parking is available in the “brandtelf” building’s underground garage.
