Dr. Rudolf Walczak joined Eppendorf in 2014. Before he became Vice President of the Eppendorf Innovation Company, he had different positions, including Global Product Manager for Cell & Liquid Handling, Global Project Leader Corporate Development and Head of Business Unit Sample Management. Prior to his start at Eppendorf, Rudolf worked as a senior consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, advising companies in the healthcare and chemicals industry with regard to innovation and re-organization strategies. He studied biochemistry in Tübingen, Germany, and New York, USA, and earned his PhD from EMBL Heidelberg in Germany.
