Kay Balster has been financing startups in the biotechnology and medical technology sector for many years. He draws on many years of experience in advising technology-oriented founders. The business graduate’s background in economics, his long-standing network in the startup ecosystem and his daily interaction with the founding teams in his HTGF portfolio assist him in his work.
For Kay, seeing how science and pioneering spirit often turn into finished products or technologies after many years and how scientists become founders and established entrepreneurs is the greatest miracle of our business. Being part of these developments with the HTGF and being able to contribute is a great motivation for him.
