Senior Investment Manager

Olaf Joeressen holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering and leverages his experience in industrial R&D since 2018 in the Industrial Technology Team of the HTGF. After his Ph.D. in the area of signal processing and semiconductor implementations he worked 15 years for Nokia where he had the privilege to lead the team that developed world’s first Bluetooth Chipset. He also developed new technologies for mobile gaming and mobile phone accessories with his teams. In his subsequent position as head of R&D of an international beverage can manufacturer Olaf gained expertise with respect to industrial mass production, metal forming and the challenges involved with bringing product innovations to a mature mass market. His name can be found on 22 patent families. In his spare time he can be seen playing the bass guitar in a big band. His current portfolio demonstrates a clear focus on deep-tech Hardware.

Chipmetrics Secures € 2.4 Million Seed Funding Round to Accelerate Product Innovation and Global Expansion
