Dr. Achim Plum, Managing Director of High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) since January 2025, has over twenty years of experience and an extensive network in the life sciences industry. Dr. Plum, who holds a doctorate in genetics, combines scientific expertise with extensive management knowledge. He has in-depth expertise in areas such as diagnostics, precision medicine, life science tools and medical technology.

In his career, he has successfully built processes, created structures and led organizations through periods of strong growth in leadership positions at early- and growth-stage companies, as well as at global tech corporations.

Dr. Plum has a track record in corporate finance, including two IPOs and is familiar with the financing perspectives of companies in all stages of development.
