Venneos is a high-tech startup, which is developing silicon-chip-based imaging systems for the analysis of biological cells. The core part of the technology is a silicon-chip, to which the cells adhere. The chip detects the electrical signals of cellular changes. The signals are then processed and displayed as microscopy-like images. Customers can see changes which remain invisible with other technologies and the automated parallel analysis of up to several thousand cells makes experiments more objective, reproducible and reliable.

Researchers in areas such as tumor biology, immunology and pharmacology as well as pharma and biotech companies will use the imaging systems. Since its foundation, the company participated successfully in several competitions.
