Palveera Systems is the evolution of LEON Mobility GmbH, founded in 2020 in Leonberg by Mat Schubert and Marc Zimmermann. What started as urban hardware operations around the XOO charging and sensor infrastructure has grown into an edge-AI context platform for urban infrastructure.
Sensor nodes on street furniture, charging points and digital out-of-home screens process multimodal data locally · vision, audio, environment and motion · and expose structured context events through a cloud API. Raw data never leaves the device. With this architecture, Palveera addresses three industry bottlenecks simultaneously: fragmented sensing, regulatory privacy requirements, and the need for real-time targeting in programmatic Digital Out Off Home Media.
The company currently runs 30+ nodes across Stuttgart, Pocking, Vienna and Bottrop. More than 6,000 locations are under contract, including via APCOA, Telekom and Framen. Perion is the global exclusive partner for programmatic DOOH activation. A €5M hardware credit line secures the rollout of the next scaling phase.
The platform launches with DOOH activation as the monetizing wedge and expands into data products for smart-city operators, insurers and critical infrastructure operators · from hyperlocal air quality and noise mapping to drone detection.
