AI startup pagent.ai implements hyper-personalization of websites

December 16, 2024

The founding duo receives a high six-figure pre-seed financing from HTGF for their idea of using generative AI to create a web experience optimized to the needs and preferences of specific target groups so that companies can better achieve their marketing goals.

Bonn, December 16, 2024 – In times of personalized advertising and social media feeds, users expect content and experiences that are perfectly tailored to them more than ever. Outdated websites are quickly perceived as unprofessional and can damage a company’s image and profitability. This is exactly where the Bonn-based AI start-up pagent.ai comes in and takes the web experience to a new level with a specially developed AI system. The AI relieves marketing professionals of the time-consuming creation and evaluation of A/B tests and automatically displays the most effective version of the website to the user.

“AI is revolutionizing how we communicate with customers online. It’s no longer enough to just build a nice landing page – every user needs to be addressed personally,” says Constantin Dißelkamp, founder and CEO of pagent.ai.

Text-based “hyper-personalization” just the first step

The specially developed AI system enables pagent.ai customers to “hyper-personalize” their web content. Currently, pagent.ai is focusing on text and image enhancements. For 2025, the start-up is planning to expand the training and learning functionalities of its technology to include elements such as structure, design and video content. Selected pilot customers are already using the AI solution and creating so-called “pagents” that automatically optimize website elements, test variants and display the best version to their users.

“Telecommunications and fashion e-commerce companies in particular are showing great interest in the automation solution. No matter what type of conversion target is involved – whether sales, newsletters, sign-ups or video clicks. For any organization with an online presence, there is great potential in marketing automation with AI to better achieve their goals,” says Christopher Helf, founder and CTO of pagent.ai.

Unique language model with a long-term vision

pagent.ai combines language models with strategic marketing knowledge and Bayesian statistics. This enables continuous learning. In this way, pagent.ai combines the best of two worlds: statistically robust experiments and state-of-the-art AI. Thus, pagent.ai lays the foundation for growing beyond the optimization of websites and completely redesigning online experiences. The long-term goal: to develop the leading AI model for personalized communication.
