€1.6 million investment for XITO: Seed funding for easily accessible robotics

February 22, 2024

  • With the completed seed financing, XITO now has €1.6 million to expand sales and product development.
  • Toolify Robotics GmbH enables companies to implement robots independently with its XITO solution platform.
  • Thanks to their product XITO, especially SMEs can get started with automation at low cost – without programming knowledge and without external specialists.

Ulm, 22. February 2024 – The start-up Toolify Robotics, founded by the three robotics experts Dr. Dennis Stampfer, Dr. Matthias Lutz and Dr. Alex Lotz, has convinced investors of its business model and completed its seed financing with a total of €1.6 million. “We will use the funds from this financing round to further accelerate our growth,” says Dr. Dennis Stampfer. “We plan to expand our innovative solution platform, hire new talent and strengthen our market presence.”

The aim of the Ulm-based startup is to develop further use cases to provide especially small and medium-sized companies with a path to automation. In addition to the existing investor High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), the group of investors for the seed phase now consists of the start-up BW Seed Fund of the MBG Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg GmbH, the investment companies of the Sparkasse Ulm and Biberach as well as the robotics solution provider AiCobot and combines the financing of Toolify with the prospect of facilitating and accelerating the integration of robotics in medium-sized manufacturing companies.

Toolify was founded in March 2020 and has developed the robotics solution platform xito.one. Using the platform, numerous companies have found an easy and cost-effective way to enter the world of robotics. These range from small companies with just a few employees to global corporations.

XITO platform

Get started with robotics in just 3 steps

XITO realizes the way to your own robotic solution in just three simple steps: plan, buy, start. First, companies start with the planning phase, in which they use the XITO Designer to independently design customized automation solutions based on suitable templates. In the next step, they use the XITO Marketplace to find and purchase all the necessary components for their robotic solution. Finally, equipped with the right components, they use the XITO Builder to set up and commission their automation solution.

Best of all, companies don’t need any programming or robotics expertise. XITO supports every step with intuitively designed software. By eliminating design and programming, XITO is unbeatably cost effective compared to traditional automation methods. In addition, companies are not tied to specific vendors and can continue to choose the best solution for them in the future.

With XITO, Toolify is on a clear growth path. We are seeing tremendous interest, especially from small and midsize companies, who can finally get into automation on their own with our holistic concept.

Dennis Stampfer, CEO of Toolify

XITO makes it easy for companies of all sizes to use robotics. With the shortage of skilled workers and increasing global competition, XITO offers companies simple solutions to improve their competitiveness. We are convinced of the concept and are sure that XITO will contribute to the growth of SMEs in Baden-Württemberg and Germany.
