Dr. Thomas Kostka has been Head of Corporate Venturing at ALTANA AG since 2020.

After studying chemistry in Erlangen, he gained first-hand experience at two startups in the US and Germany and founded his own consulting company in the field of chemoinformatics & computer-aided drug design.

In 2007, he started in industry at Henkel in Düsseldorf, where he led R&D teams in Scientific Computing and Technology Scouting. Dr. Kostka then moved to Strategy and New Business Development and held the position of Senior Investment Manager at Henkel Ventures for the Adhesive Technologies business before joining ALTANA AG.
