Daniel has a degree in business administration with a focus on media, marketing and change management. He works in media since the early 2000s, from 2008 at media + more venture shareholder BZ.medien from Freiburg. (The HTGF fund investor media + more venture is a joint venture of the Stimme Mediengruppe from Heilbronn and BZ.medien.)

After holding various positions at newspaper publishers, Daniel was responsible for an organisation in the magazine and corporate publishing sector as managing director for several years. After this, he took over the management of a printing firm. An important aspect of all his activities was always the digitalisation and future-oriented development of the companies. Not least for this reason, he became the manager of business development and ventures at BZ.medien in 2021. In this function, he is also the managing director of media + more venture.
